Sometimes I feel like all I do is break up arguments, separate them, and beg them to share. They bicker over snacks, toys, and my attention. I have to remind them constantly that they are brothers & best friends... but not this week. They have played, laughed, and enjoyed their time together. Evan bumped Jack tonight, and before I could remind him to play nicely & apologize, he looked at Jack and said "I'm sorry, Jack!". I smiled & told Evan that I was so proud of him for apologizing without being asked. He gave me "the look". The "I know mom" look. It hasn't been perfect this week, but so much better. And for that I am thankful.
