This week's Make It Monday technique is debossing stamped images. I love this technique and have used it often. I needed to create a card to give to Evan's teacher (tomorrow is the last day of school for both boys). I pulled out my Apple Prints stamps and dies for a quick and easy card.
To create the debossing, I first ran the apple die through my big shot with embossing pads instead of only cutting plates. After the apple was outlined, I stamped it with Memento Luxe Love Letter and Pear Tart inks.
The center flower and sentiment are also from Apple Prints. I added a few buttons (from an old Autumn Leaves button pack), an enamel dot, twine, and gingham patterned paper from Papertrey Ink's Pure Poppy Patterns Pack.
Welcome to my little piece of cyberspace! My blog started as a way to document my son, Evan, as he grew up. Almost nine years later, my blog is a place for me to share everyday moments, crafting projects, and pictures of my two beautiful boys. We live in sunny Florida and I am currently a full time student and work as a substitute teacher.
