Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Holiday Tag Alongs

Good morning! Fresh Squeezed Stamps has one final set to introduce today called Holiday Tag Alongs. This set has four frame images plus "To:" and "From:" stamps to create custom tags for presents or envelopes.

I used three of the tags to decorate plain white envelopes for Christmas! I stamped each of the images onto white cardstock, trimmed them down, then adhered them to the top left of each envelope. I decorated to the tags with wood veneers, washi tape, and enamel dots.

And don't forget to stop by the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog for the full reveal, more inspiration, and a chance to win this new set! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Halloween!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Inside Scoop: Holiday

Welcome to day two of the Fresh Squeezed Stamps October Release Week! Today I have a card featuring a fabulous new stamp set that is perfect for the outside (or the inside!) of a holiday card. I used a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park to create a fun post card looking greeting card:

Isn't the sentiment fun? I love the trendy font, too.

That's it for me! Hop on over to the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog for more inspiration, and don't forget to leave a comment over there for a chance to win this awesome set!

RetroSketches | Challenge #87

** This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down or click here to view my release week card for Fresh Squeezed Stamps. **

This week's RetroSketches challenge is a very basic (but easily customizable!) sketch. I have a pack of aqua shimmer paper that I've been dying to use, and I paired it with a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

I colored the butterfly with a trio of Copic markers, then placed the die cut upside down in my 5 inch Xyron machine to apply adhesive to the top of the butterfly. I dumped on some glitter from Stampin' Up! to finish it off. It is very sparkly in real life! And I hate using liquid glue with glitter (more mess), and using the Xyron cuts down on the glitter explosion that usually happens on my desk when making a card like this. I thread a button and used a medium sized glue dot to adhere it on top of the glittered butterfly.

(Supplies - Stamps: (Hero Arts) Antique Flowers and Butterflies. (CAS-ual Fridays) Beanstalks. (Papertrey Ink) Background Basics: Twinkle. Ink (Memento) Black (PTI) Aqua Mist. Cardstock: (PTI) Aqua Mist, Rust White, Shimmer Aqua. Enamel Dots: My Mind's Eye. Glitter: Stampin' Up!. Button: (PTI) Aqua Mist.)

That's it for me today! Check back tomorrow for another new release card for Fresh Squeezed Stamps. Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Hello December

Good morning! It's release week for Fresh Squeezed Stamps, and I have a card featuring a trendy new set called Hello December. I used the sequin stamp from On Trend 2013 to create the background, then added two stamped images from Hello December with pop dots. The #CHRISTMAS is also from Hello December, and I stamped it directly onto the background cardstock.

Make sure to stop over at the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog for more projects using Hello December, and for a chance to win this set!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Sunday, friends! I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I have a few new stamp sets sitting on my desk from Wplus9 that are begging to be used, and this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge was the perfect opportunity to create a Christmas card using Silver Bells and Merry & Bright.

Great Impressions Stamps | Best Of Part 2

For my final Great Impressions Stamps post, I have five more cards that use some of my favorite Great Impressions Stamps. And like last week, I will link to the original blog post and stamp set(s) used.

The first card combines so many of my favorite elements: Kraft, buttons, pink, gems, hexagons, a fun swirly stamp... into one very colorful birthday card! The stamp I used was Simple Elegance, and here is the original blog post.

Butterflies are another favorite of mine (I own too many butterfly stamps to count!), and the GI Tiger Swallowtail stamp is just lovely. Here is a link to the original post.

This watering can of flowers was one of the first stamps I picked out from Great Impressions. The various blooms in the sweet little can make for a lovely sympathy card. Here is the stamp and you can find the original post here.

Autumn is my favorite season, and I couldn't resist this beautiful fall themed stamp. You can find the stamp here, and the original post here.

The final card I have to share features this lovely Flower Bouquet stamp. The red and black color combo really pops on kraft cardstock. You can find the stamp here and the original post here.

That wraps up my final post for Great Impressions Stamps. I am going to miss the wonderful women I have had the pleasure of working with this past year. Thanks for everything!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Halloween Tags

Good morning! Tracey's post last week inspired me to pull out my Frightfully Delightful stamp set and create some cute Halloween tags. I used some super fun patterned paper, polka dot and glitter buttons, and my Copic markers to create three fun Halloween tags:

I plan on sticking a tag in my son's lunch box on Halloween. I think he will like getting a small note from Mom.  :)

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

ColourQ | Challenge #211

ColourQ has provided us with another gorgeous Halloween inspired color scheme this week.

I used my favorite Halloween set (Papertrey Ink's Halloween Sweets and Treats), plus a great spider web background stamp from Hero Arts, for my card. I hung a pumpkin/spider from some bakers twine, which I taped to the back of the black cardstock.

That's it for me today! I'm off to the dentist with the boys this afternoon. Wish me luck... Jack is already protesting. I'm afraid the hygienist is going to lose a finger when she tries to clean his teeth. He can be rather stubborn at times. :)

Have a wonderful week!

RetroSketches | Challenge #86

This week's RetroSketches challenge had me pulling out several holiday/Christmas sets for my card. I used Papertrey Ink's Winter Penguin and Wplus9's Folk Art Flurries (my favorite snowflake stamp set ever!).

Here is the challenge:

And here is my take:

(Supplies - Stamps: (PTI) Winter Penguin, Fillable Frames #7. (Wplus9) Folk Art Flurries. Cardstock: (PTI) White. (Stampin' Up!) Smokey Slate. Patterned Paper: (PTI) Pure Poppy patterns pack. Dies: (PTI) Winter Penguin, Fillable Frames #7. Ink: (PTI) Pure Poppy, True Black. (Stampin' Up!) Smokey Slate. Other: Ribbon, enamel dots, stickles.)

Doesn't this little guy put you in the holiday mood? I know... it's a little early for Christmas cards. But I don't like mass producing cards (I get bored...), so I make a few dozen different cards every year. Which means I have to start early!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Great Impressions Stamps | Best Of (Part 1)

Good morning! October is coming to an end, which means I only have two more Great Impressions Stamps posts before my term is up. I thought it would be fun to go back and pick my top ten cards using some fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions store. I am going to feature five in today's post, and five next Saturday. Before each card I will list the stamps used, plus a link to the original blog post where the full supply list can be found.

First up is a birthday using an adorable ice cream stamp that looks fabulous colored in or paper pieced. Stamp used: One Scoop On Top of Another. And here is the original post.

Next I have an aqua and green encouragement card using a lovely stitched flower stamp. Stamps used: Wishing You and Stitched Flowers. Here is the original blog post.

The next card features my favorite sentiment from Great Impressions. It is perfect for sending a quick note to a friend. Stamps used: Watering Can of Flowers and A Little Hello. Here is the original blog post.

Sometimes my favorite stamps are basic backgrounds. For this card, I used one stamp, Elegant Motif, and stamped it across the front of the card in several different colors. I love how this card turned out! Stamp used: Elegant Motif. Here is the original blog post.

The final card I want to share today is a favorite because of the adorable owl stamp. And a pink owl? It doesn't get any better than that! Stamp used: Love Struck Owl. Here is the original blog post.

I'll be back next Saturday with my final Great Impressions Stamps blog post, and five more favorites! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Erin.
